Even though I don’t travel solo as often as I used to, I’ve developed a deep passion for creating meaningful experiences for other travellers. My mission is to help you feel truly at home in Vancouver—whether you’re visiting for the first time or settling into this beautiful city. I want to show you Vancouver through the eyes of someone who knows what it’s like to be an outsider, but with the warmth and insight of a local.
Hey there! I’m Bea, your passionate host in Vancouver and the founder of Soul'o Travellers.
I’m originally from Brazil and moved here years ago as an international student. I quickly fell in love with exploring the city—its culture, its people, and all the hidden gems that make it special.
Since I was 18, I’ve lived in multiple cities across four different countries, constantly on the move for work or life transitions. Most of the time, I was traveling solo, which meant I got to experience both the joys and challenges of discovering a new place on my own. I know firsthand how exciting, overwhelming, and sometimes lonely it can be. It’s easy to get caught up in the logistics and forget why we travel in the first place. But at the same time, solo adventures create space for spontaneity, surprising encounters, and self-discovery.
